"Lordy, Lordy! Look who's 40!!!

Yesterday was my daddy's 40th birthday! His girlfriend Kim planned a surprise birthday party for him and it turned out great! She is such a sweetheart. I have some pictures:

We had to be a little sly for this one... The picture of the Trans-Am on the cake is actually my dads car. It's a 1979 with only 4,300 miles on it. He enters it into contests and has won quite a few. He is pretty proud of that car! So my Aunt Tami and I had to look around his house to find his album in order to get the picture put on his cake. I love the way it turned out and he did too! :)

Yes. It is what it looks like. LOL

Well not technically.. its apple juice.. but it was a cute idea. They made him shake the box first and when he opened it 'pee' went all over him. It was pretty funny. A few others also got him some gag gifts as well. Kim got him a cane... Someone got him some "Old Fart" wine. He got a Hello Kitty steering wheel cover and a few other gag gifts.

Quite a few people showed up... some that he worked with, his neighbors, family and some friends. We all had a good time and so did Daddy. No one has ever done this kind of thing for him before and I think it was pretty special to him. His ex-wife Becky always tried to ruin every birthday or holiday, so it was nice to actually enjoy it for a change. :)
